I'm dealing with an extreme case of thyroiditis.   I hope none of you have to go through this, because as of now the form of treatment is to let it resolve itself .   Hopefully within 2 months.  It has caused my thyroid to become hyper.  I've lost weight and I did not need to do that at this point.
